porterjunction: Annette Lopez is a hard working woman, a mother of four and a wife with a great story of triumph and perseverance. Her story will inspire you and her cafe is a story of hope. Her food is made fresh and with lots of "Tender Loving Care." With over 25 years experience in managing restaurants and community involvement, Annette always dreamt of opening her own business that catered to the local community. In addition to being an entrepreneur, Mrs. Lopez also contributes numerous hours a week serving the Boyle Heights community by helping at-risk youth and individuals who have had a difficult time combating drug abuse problems. Mrs. Lopez not only sees the Porter Junction Café as a business, but also as a meeting place for the community to embrace and enjoy.
